Radiola 80 Antique Wood Deco Console Tube Radio Repair
A classic radio for your collection! Here we have a great old Vacuum Tube Radio Set. This is the Model 80 made by Radiola! The tubes are present as is the power cord. When we plugged it in the tubes light up and glowed but it does not receive any stations. This is a parts or repair set that is certain to interest the Vintage or Antique Radio buff. There are lots of resources on the internet to find parts and services provided for radio repair!
The wood cabinet is in good shape and has a wonderful deco flare to it! It does show scuffs, minor chips and wear in the veneer and finish but stands sturdily upon its four turned legs. While the cloth speaker cover has a hole in it, the fancy scroll work ribs that cover it is intact. The dial cover is yellowed and the dial itself does not turn when the tuning knob is rotated. This radio has 9 tubes, two of which are the Hard to Find No. 45 Tubes, spread out between two chassis in the cabinet. It features wood knobs and this old timer 27.5" wide by 43" tall by 14" deep.
