Philco Model 70 Superheterodyne Baby Grand Radio. Well-Preserved Antique Radio

yYou are looking at a Well-Preserved Antique Philco Baby Grand Model 70 Superheterodyne Tube Radio.  This radio has been displayed for thirty years.  We plugged it in on and off.  The radio has a very great, warm sound, just like the good old’ days.  Without the external antenna, it still picks up quite a few stations very clearly.  If I had to rate this radio’s condition, I’d say at say 8 out of 10, because of its age.  There is a bit of wear on the bottom edges.  The wood is still shining, the dials all work and seem smooth, the tuner light display is functioning.  This radio was extensively tested, it can play for several hours without any issues.  There is some very, very, very light hum, but when the radio is playing, it’s unnoticeable.  The grille and fabric is still in good condition, solidly held in place, although two small pieces of veneer have come off of the center of the front grille.  This entirely original, to the best of my knowledge, it has never been refurbished, it’s just an incredibly well-preserved antique.  As an old electronic, I’ll sell it as is.   I’ve had this for thirty years, I think it’s time to pass it on, in the spirit of Christmas.  Don’t miss your chance to grab it, you may never see its like again!
