Description:

Rare collector's item - antique tube radio, made in West Germany in late 1950's - Nordmende Elektra 35 USA, High Fidelity Radio. Nordmende Elektra 58 USA, so it has the full FM band and rare tuning eye tube. It has a wood case and 6 original tubes ECC85 ECH81 EF89 EABC80 EM34 EL84. Features AM, FM, BC and SW (short wave). All tubes appearing to work fine including the eye tube however the only thing coming out of radio speaker is HUM which is same on all settings. Great collector's piece, very rare on any market - see pictures for more reference and ask questions if needed.

For repair or restoration, radio powers on and looks like all tubes are fine and in working order however there is no sound, on all presets the only sound coming out is static hum, at the same level and the same on all presets, this maybe tuner section or something else but radio needs repair, visual condition is good to very good considering the age of this piece - Sold on AS IS basis and returns are not accepted for this item - all as pictured - please see pictures for more reference.
