1930 RCA Model Aero Cathedral Antique Radio Private

Manufacturer:  Radio Corporation of America  New York, NY 

Model:  "Aero" Cathedral

The chassis is tagged by RCA who had made chassis's for other radio manufacturers at that time. This set closely

resembles an Electronic Research Labs, 1930 Angelus 5 tube model.     

Type:  Electric

Number of tubes:  9 tubes - 24A, 35, 24A, 551, 56, 47, 47, 127 and 80

Tubes have been tested and all are strong

The tuner has 4 sets of rotary plates

Material:  Wood case

Working condition:  Works and sounds great

The lower left knob is tone, the middle brass toggle is to switch from low power to high power speaker volume,

the right lower knob is the on/off/volume and the top larger knob is for tuning.

Cabinet Condition:  Excellent +

From the private collection of John Crawford, prolific actor

notably as the Sherriff of the hit show "The Walton's"
