Here is what I know… Please refer to all pictures

The radio has been tested: WORKSWhat started as a project, ended when I purchased a “mint” black dial Zenith…so I am passing this one on to be redone.I did some cleaning and minor repairs. I did not “refurbish” or “rebuild” it. Was not necessary. I just did some repairs. I do not know if all the original covers are on the chassis. The power cord was replaced.Old paper capacitors were replaced.The speaker was replaced…the speaker is NOT the original model. It is an NOS old Zenith speaker that my tech friend “ohm-ed” to meet the original specifications.If the tubes were bad…they were replaced. Not all tubes are new, but they all work.Schematic included.At the time of testing and listing, all tubes work.Speaker is loud and clear.Speaker grill cloth is as shown in pictures.All four knobs are present.The dial face lights up…all bulbs were replaced by me.The inside of the cabinet was cleaned/vacuumed/air blown by me.Missing one screw on bottom…washers added for stability.The cabinet needs refinishing…refer to pictures...there is one wooden decorative button missing on the lower front.Dimensions (approximate): 11 1/2” wide x 8” deep x 16” tall.Pictures taken with/without flash to better show detail and cosmetic condition.eBay allows 12 pictures…you got’em.Shipping is flat rated, will include insurance, I will pick up the rest of the shipping charges, including boxes and stuffing.NOTE: The follwing questions were asked and ansered 8/25/2011...I just forgot to celect the "post" button prior to sending the response.

Q...Is the veneer iifted on the top back of the cabinet? Any chips or cracks in the veneer?
A...Hello and thank you for your questions. The veneer is lifting in the rear of the top piece. This can be seen best in the picture of the back taken without flash (the second picture of the back). I did not notice any chips or cracks in the veneer. If I were going to finish redoing the cabinet, I would lift and reseat the top pieces and strip/sand/restain the rest. Please note that there is one wooden "button" missing in the front, just up from the bottom. That piece would have to be made and placed. I hope this information was helpful. -A

I ship UPS from work, Monday to Friday by 3:00pm. I occasionally take a day off, but have ALWAYS shipped within 3 business days. Remember, paying an invoice late Thursday night or on Friday usually means that it will ship next-business-day…on Monday. I will message you with the day it will be shipped.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES: I will ship by either USPS or UPS. The auction will state which method. I will combine and discount shipping for multiple purchases. Refer to Auction Bid Block for how this item will be shipped. Shipping via USPS to anywhere in the United States and International. Shipping via UPS Ground to anywhere in the 48 Contiguous United States.

The items are well packaged for shipping.

If you need different shipping arrangements, please message/email me as soon as possible after winning the bid and before paying the invoice ((if not a Buy-It-Now purchase) in order to change the shipping method. For Buy-it-Now purchases, include a message in the payment.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: The shipping charge is for POSTAGE ONLY. Customs taxes, fees, VAT, Import dues, etc., is the responsibility of the Buyer.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Shipping time once the item leaves the United States is totally up to the destination country. Customs Parcel Numbers are entered in to both EBay and PayPal. You can track as to when it is put through the Sort Facility for USPS First Class International and USPS Priority Mail International. Once the item leaves the United States, please do not blame the Seller for slow delivery or tax add-ons in your country.
