BEAUTIFUL OLD ANTIQUE ZENITH TUBE WOOD BOOMERANG AM RADIO POLISHED RECAPPED WKS

Here we start with a vintage & very nice looking Zenith tube two-tone wood boomerang black dial AM radio that works. The model number on this extremely cool looking radio is 6D2615-N & I believe it was produced around the 1942 era. This cabinet is in it's original condition & it has been polished & still retains most of it's original sheen or shine. There is no veneer loss & really not any scratches or nicks worthy of talking about, however there is a spot on top where there is some finish loss & this does not detract from the overall beauty this radio has to offer. The two-tone wood cabinet is very stylish looking to say the least with a very cool looking deco arch wood speaker grill & boomerang black dial.

The boomerang plastic dial lens cover is clean & clear & in very good condition with no cracks or scratches. The black boomerang AM dial scale with the gold arrowhead dial pointer are both in very nice looking & working condition including 2 working dial lights. The speaker grille cloth is original & in good looking condition. The metal brass bezel pieces on either side that the ivory pushbuttons are housed are both in great condition as well as the ivory pushbuttons themselves are in great looking & working condition. The 2-butterscotch control knobs fit & work well but they are a little bit warped. The original back panel is present & fits secure & tight but it is in fair condition.

The chassis is in good condition & it is a 6-tube unit with 2-controls & 4-pushbuttons & all controls & pushbuttons are in great working condition. The chassis has had new electrolytic capacitor/filters installed & all paper/wax capacitors have been replaced & a new electric cord has been installed. When this wonderful Zenith is powered up it plays clean, clear & loud with good tone quality. Now for the SAD part about it's playing ability. The radio will receive one (1) stations on the lower end of the dial scale around the 550 AM mark & then after you turn the dial past the mid way point to the upper end of the dial scale it will pickup the rest of the stations on the upper portion of the dial & play fine. For this reason I am selling this radio as is condition & I hate to say that but this is the way I must sell it since the lower end of the dial scale will only pickup one station.

This still is a very sweet & cool looking radio & it still plays so I would hope someone out there will be happy to grab up this beauty & show it off, as it is a real L@@KER & presents itself very nicely.

The size of this gem is 14-1/2" long 7-1/4" wide & 9" high, so I would estimate the shipping cost to be around $17.00 plus or minus a couple of dollars (depending on your location) INSURED & mailed in the USA. I only charge for shipping what it cost me to ship it to you & NO EXTRAS, this also applies the International shipping cost.

If you have any questions please ask & I will answer fast & as best as I can. Thanks for looking I greatly appreciate it.
